To be clear this screwdriver should never be compared to a drill. It is a screwdriver and should be compared to other screwdrivers. I have a one from Lowes that looks exactly like it and operates the same way. The product is excellent to have for small jobs like putting in ceiling fans or when you have a lot of screws that need screwing. It will be great come Christmas when I have a lot of kids toys to put together.

I was sick and tired of using my husbands 18 volt drill. It's way too big and too heavy for me. So I bought this cordless drill. It has exceeded all my expectations. It came in a really nice case, came with a bunch of bits for drilling and screwing and is lightweight and compact. It says that it will hold a charge for 18 months so I'm not sure on whether or not thats true but I charged it up and put together a book case I bought and it had more then enough power. The light is really cool on it as well. The light is really bright and helped me see what I was doing better even in a normally lit room. For $29, it is a great deal.

I bought this because I could keep it in my pickup, as it is small and the battery would hold a charge for a long time. I also bought it because it increased my order to $150 and I got the $25 bonus price reduction. I used it today for the first time. Wow, it is far stronger than I ever anticipated. It drove 3" dry wall screws. It is the most powerful 3.6 volt driver I have ever seen. I am thinking about getting another one to keep in my wifes car.

I had an amazon giftcard to use up and decided to bolster some of my basic home tools. I got this little badboy along with the 115-piece repair kit. I really like the weight and feel of this drill and it has a thrust stronger than a mountain yak's kick! Way more powerful (and cheaper) than the B&D drill I used to have, which the latter is now destined for a garage sale.

Bought one of these for myself and one for my father-in-law for Christmas. We've since put our house on the market and bought another. We've used this screwdriver at least daily for the last several months. It's the perfect size for those little jobs -- removing faceplates to paint, drilling through drywall to hang curtains, etc. I wouldn't use it to build something, but that's what the heavy duty drill is for! The fact that everything you need (including charger, drill bits and screwdriver bits) are in the case, makes it so much more convenient than dragging out the big drill when this suffices for over 90 percent of the jobs.

After buying one of these tools, I wanted two more for gifts. When I received the next two, one wouldn't work. I called customer service and a replacement was sent. It, also, didn't work. After calling customer service again, they decided to put a hold on replacements and refunded my money. I am very pleased with customer service but the screwdriver kits are to be avoided.

I have ordered the first time and the item came damaged but Amazon team was really helpful and contacted in the same day telling me that another had been shipped! Now, the item work just fine, it comes with a white light and set for the screwdriver. Actually, I purchased a desk and the item helped me build every part of it! If you are looking to have at home the minimum screwdriver set and tools, I recommend that you go for this item. If you are looking for a pofessional set, I don't recommend that you buy it!

I have used cordless drills for years. I had planned to buy a much more expensive model. I wanted the lithium battery because I was tired of replacement batteries not being cost effective. I figured I would try this for small jobs because it would be easier on my old wrist. I was surprised at the torque. I haven't had it long enough to see how it handles wear and tear. It is easy to hold, fits in my nail bag with a short bit. The drill bits made it where I didn't miss my cordless drill as much. I would not recommend this for repetitive commercial work but perfect for the homeowner and light construction.

I bought this about 8 months ago. I used it a few times and was satisfied with it. After not using it for four months while I was away, it won't work anymore. I'm not sure if the problem is that it won't take a charge or something else. After leaving it on the charger for hours, it does absolutely nothing.

Lacks GOOD power. Meaning it has the kind of power I thought I would get from a $25 cordless screwdriver. When driving in a 2 inch wood screw it practically gave out towards the end and simply would not turn further. Yes, it was fully charged. The driver bits are pretty light weight and have already begun to strip. The drill bits give a bit too much and feel as if they will snap any day. One even became lodged in a wall stud, slithering it's way from the actual bit. That was fun to pry free.
br /
br /On the up side it's about what I expected for such a bargain. I learned early on when to bust out my 18V. It has a very useful LED. The charge gauge is something even my higher end drill lacks. It is ergonomic and easy to manuever. It comes with a very cool compact carrying case. And best of all it has freed me up from the light duty jobs my wife used to ask me to handle. I drill and screw stuff in but now, so does she.
br /
br /Excellent for a student, strong/independent but notsosavy with large tools woman, apartment dweller, or dude that just doesn't feel like running to the garage to fetch power tools for light duty maintenance.
br /
br /All in all, whadya expect for 3 volts at $25? Not bad.

I have one of these from Menard's ($25)
br /
br /It is a nice little light-duty compact screw-driver. The battery lasts a long time in storage. The driver bits are a nice touch, but fit poorly in the supplied case.
br /
br /Having said that, it is vastly inferior to the $70 DeWalt cordless screw-driver.
br /
br /If you only want one, get the DeWalt. If you already have a DeWalt, this is a nice second to stash in the kitchen.

This is not a bad little drill, good to keep around for a quick fix-up job. You'd definitely need something else for more serious projects. The power seems decent, but the drills in the kit are somewhat soft and flex under hard material. Overall, though, it's quite satisfactory for a small apartment dweller who is not a carpenter.

I have an 18v Cordless drill for serious work, but when it comes to doing stuff like electric this is perfect. Those little screws with many threads for electric switches, recepticles, etc are no match for the 18v cordless, This little unit saves your wrist from fatigue. It is certainly OK for drilling holes in wood that are required for the long screws that need a place to go at the top and bottom of switches/recepticles. I especially like the lithium-Ion battery as it has no memory and you can charge it anytime rather than running it down before charging.
br /The kit is nice and I always throw it in our RV too for trips. If you do not expect it to compete with the 18volt power house tools, you will love it. Keep your expectations realistic, especially since you did not pay big bucks for this little jewel.

5 Stars for a "Cordless Screwdriver"

This first thing to do is to set your expectations in that this is truly a fine cordless screwdriver. This is not a cordless drill, and it makes little pretenses as such.
br /
br /The beauty of this tool is the size, the ease of use for hands of all sizes and shapes (more later), and the little extras.
br /
br /The Size:
br /
br /This tool is powered with a Lithium Ion battery which allows it to be much smaller and lighter while being very useful.
br /
br /
br /The Shape:
br /
br /The size has worked well for a 75 year old grandmother who has limited hand strength, but is stubborn and knowledgeable enough. This lady needs to tighten the door handles, tighten a loose screw in the kitchen, or assemble something small she bought. The handle shape, the trigger size, and the overall weight make this a great tool for her.
br /
br /The little extras:
br /
br /The light on the tool points to where I need to see the screw as my eyes grow older and in need of more light to see. Don't get me started on how this helps with my need for longer arms (as the short vision goes, you hold things out further to see them).
br /
br /The bag is well designed and organized. The bits are solid and the sizes you would need.
br /
br /
br /A 10 year old girl Daddy's girl who would help out more if she didn't get so bored with the turning and turning a screw takes to assemble things with her dad, also loves this tool. It has been safe for her to learn about "power" tools including VERY light and slow drilling. She has also become quite possessive of this tool, but the payoff is she fixes things without being asked. It is great when kids WANT to help!
br /
br /This has been a great tool to keep in the infamous kitchen drawer to quickly fix or assemble something.
br /
br /Pretenses:
br /
br /Don't fall prey to the silly marketing guy who insisted that these have drill bits added to the package. This tool is not meant to drill. As the marketing guy typically pays to have things fixed at his house, he has again proved he doesn't know his screwdriver from a drill (continue with your own jokes here).
br /
br /In review, this is an excellent cordless screwdriver. I refuse to give this guy negative marks due to an unfair comparison of the tremendous growth spurt of it's cordless drill cousins. It is what it is, and it is darn good at what it is. My hat is off to this little guy.
This thing rocks!

I have owned this item for several months now and have used it sparingly. The I went to IKEAs and bought some tables and book shelves. My Denali screw driver set had been idle for months. It had not had a recent charging. After of months of remaining idle it was fully charged and able to handle the task put before it. I like that it comes in it's own little case with all it's bits safe and secure and added room for anything you would like to add. This is excellent for lite jobs and and assemblies. Everything is right there when you need it it zips up and is easy to transport. A male friend used it today and was surprised by the power. I am a fan of Black and Decker and own a electric drill with screw bits and drill bits. But I am so disorganized can never find the drill bits and and drill in the same spot. This Denali solves the problem everything in a soft zip up case. Just beautiful.

My husband got me this for Christmas. I had a really old BD battery model. This little unit buries that one.
br /
br /This comes in a very nice carrying case with an assortment of flat and phillips head drivers and an assortment of drill bits. There is a also a charger in the case, and room for the driver. Everything fits in this case, and makes it easy to store and retrieve. There is also an extra pocket on the front of the case for little stuff.
br /
br /The screwdriver has an LED light on the front, which has a definite on/off switch (don't have to hold it down). There are also indicator lights on top, to show when draining battery and when charge is needed.

I purchased this around Christmas 2006 and didn't have a chance to use it till April 2007. Charged up the unit per the instructions and it doesn't work. Led light does not work. It is missing the magnet to hold the bit in the drill. Very disappointed. Next time I'll make sure to check an item so I can return it back to Amazon within the returns period.
