I have been using Makita cordless drills for about 15 years and found this drill to stand up to the Makita name in quality and comfort. The drill is well balanced and sits nicely in the hand. the drill is small enough to work on those around the house projects where larger drills would be difficult to work with. the variable speed is nice as well as the high and lo speed setting. This drill is also quiet compared to my other drills which are much louder. I havent really used the flash light unit, but it looks durable and rugged enough to sustain a drop from several feet.

This drill is so great for it's size. It's so light yet strong and very long lasting. If you do regular work with a drill this one can't be beat. I use mine at work and want another at home.
