Good light-to-medium duty drill

It's inexpensive, light weight and it works. If you're drilling (or driving screws) into pine 2 x 4's, plywood, etc. this drill has plenty of power. The light weight also makes it easy to use for extended periods. This is a great little drill for light-to-medium duty. Understand that if you're remodeling an old house (75+ years) where the wood feels like more like stone, you'll find it difficult driving screws and boring large holes. If you already know you're going to be drilling rock-hard materials, go get a Milwaukee Magnum (a much higher torque, more expensive and noticeably heavier tool).

Decent, hard-working drill

I have found this DeWalt drill to be a very good medium-priced drill. I was disappointed that it did not have the level as described by Amazon, but since I wanted a keyed chuck electric drill, and there aren't many to choose from, I decided to keep this one. It's very smooth and relatively quiet - a hard worker it seems. I wish the cord could be detached for storing, but overall I think it will serve us well for years.

I needed a new drill.
br /Corded. Had to have.
br /Always did well with Dewalt.
br /One thing that influenced my decision was the Amazon description.
br /I knew the reputation.
br /Amazon said made in USA.
br /"tool made in Mexico" on the side of the box.
br /48 hours from initial order to box on the stairs; shipped fast.
br /Just very disappointed in the misleading description.
br /Had I known then what I know now I would have spent the extra money for something else. OR spent less money for something I KNEW beforehand was made elsewhere.
br /Already broke the seals on the box used it once otherwise I would return it.
