I've a lot of tools, and like so many others, was 'lured' by the price. I thought I'd try this as a quick alternative to spending five to eight times as much. I rarley use the drill, and was pleased intitially with being able get into the tight places. Recently, however, after reaching for this drill because I had a 'tight spot' to work in, I found that the trigger was not shutting off totally when I let go. I had to unplug it as I went one bit or tool back to this one, otherwise I was afraid the motor would burn out. When I made it back to my shop, I took it apart and was astounded by the poor construction, obviously designed to make a dollar as cheap as possible. The mechanical make-up is excellent for an 18 year old designer in China. The electronics are poor. The gears (without knowing whether they were 'manufactured' with chips already missing from the teeth) had missing 'spaces'(chips) in numerous gears. This tool I would rate as a 'C' class tool -- not to be depended upon for very long.

I made the mistake of getting about 5 cheap power tools made in China. I havn't thrown them away, but I do not use them. They are loaners, and I use my American, Japanese, and German tools myself. Generally, they are not worth the price of shipping.

Don't even think about it!

Sorry to say this drill did not last one day it failed before I could finish the project I was building. If you choose to buy it I hope you will have better results than I did.

br /04/09/06: I have to update this review. My husband says this tool didn't hold up AT ALL! If I could change my rating I would.

br /I was nervous about getting this drill because it was so much less expensive than the one my husband said he wanted for Christmas. But I did my research and kept my fingers crossed, and he likes it just fine. It's not quite as powerful as the high-end one he had used before at a customer's, but this also isn't a tool he'll be using every day. It seems to be well-made, and arrived on time from the manufacturer. I got this for less than half the cost of the one he originally wanted, and I was able to spend the rest of the budget on another gift.

This was a great company to work with, the drills came in rapid time, and were of a nice quality.
