I have a home repair business and have used this tool for several years. I have yet to find something it won't drive or drill. I have not used the 18 volt driver yet, but on the other hand I have never needed more power. I have noticed that Mike Holmes of the Holmes on Homes DIY show uses nothing but this tool. Another asset is the size and weight. The 18 volt DeWalt drill/driver gets heavy, especially when you are putting in drywall screws overhead. With this lighter tool, not so much. With a few minutes practice anyone can drive any screw, bolt, nut, etc. like a pro. Lastly it's impact style of drive makes loosening stuck screws and nuts a little eaiser.

Bought the Dewalt 14.4v Impact Driver to drive tile backer board screws. The tool exceeded my expectations. The tool has plenty of torque, is well balanced and held a charge to drive over 100 screws. I would highly recommend it to drive hex, torque or square head screws/bolts. It doesn't work as well on philips head because it will easily strip the head if it slips.
